Lena is a Partner in the dispute resolution practice group. She brings on-board over ten years of progressive multi-disciplinary experience in tax dispute resolution and tax advisory. Lena is a result-oriented and Certified Public Accountant (K) working as a specialist in both domestic and international tax advisory and litigation for medium to large-scale corporates and high net worth individuals. She is also experienced in engaging and negotiating settlements with the Kenya Revenue Authority( KRA), on behalf of clients.
Lena has recently been ranked in Chambers Global 2022 as “Up and Coming” for her advocacy experience in tax-related disputes. As part of celebrating International Women’s Day in 2021, KRA recognized Lena in 2021 as a “Leading Woman in Tax in Kenya” for her outstanding tax law practice.
Lena has an LLM in international and European Tax law from the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands, a Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law, an LLB from Catholic University of East Africa and is a Certified Public Accountant (K) from KASNEB.
