Recent Representations:

  • We have acted in several transactions involving acquisition of property where we have advised on all aspects of the acquisition including preparing a competitive offer, conducting extensive legal due diligence, negotiating the sale and purchase contract and undertaking the transfer formalities at the relevant land registries.
  • We have advised real estate developers and land owners in structuring and negotiating joint ventures for development of housing, commercial or integrated master-planned multiple-use projects. We have advised on all aspects of the various projects including due diligence, land planning, project management and financing, construction contracts, shareholder agreements, e.t.c. We also assist in preparing template sale contracts and transfer documents for the developed units.
  • Advising the lead member of the consortium that won the bid to re-develop the Nairobi City Council (NCC) in the Old Housing Estate on Ngong Road. The project involves the re- development of an old housing estate belonging to the Government of Kenya in the   development of low-cost housing on a parcel of land off Ngong’ Road.
